I am a huge Baseball fan and I always look forward to the playoffs in October and guess what? Now is the time for that. My favorite team The Yankees have once again made it to the playoffs after a brilliant comeback in the second half of the season. They have faced the Cleveland Indians and have won game three. But the Indians lead the series 2 to 1 and I am really hoping the Yankees with the next two in a row or this is where I stop watching the playoffs.
The other teams that have made it this far have shown tremendous energy and motivation to win. The Boston Red Sox have swept the Los Angeles Angels and the Arizona Diamond Backs have swept the Chicago Cubs and the Colorodo Rockies have swept the Philedelphia Phillies. This post season is very intense and the Yankees-Indians game is the only one going to game 4 and everyone is at the edge of their seat, I know I am.

Alzheimers is a very common disease. As an individual ages, the risk and probability of the person getting alzheimer’s increases. September 21st was World Alzheimer’s Day which raised money and awareness all over the world for this cause. The Alzheimer’s Association is doing something called Purple Party where people can organize activities and anyway to raise at least $150 for the cause of Alzheimers and they will get a Free Party Kit. Also a free gold kit is available for anyone that do not want a party kit.
You can make your own Purple Party and post information about it on ActionAlz.org and if you can agree to raise a $150 for Alzheimers, they will send you a free party kit to get your party started. All money will be used for the cause to treat and research of Alzheimers and if you can help out the millions of people that have the disease, you should go ahead and do it without too many second thoughts.
Many people will try this Purple Party program and raise money for the cause. And know this, The Harrah’s Foundation has agreed to match every dollar raised with a dollar of their own. So look at it this way, if you raised $150, you are actually raising $300 because of The Harrah’s Foundation’s promise. Facebook is another social networking site that keeps millions of users busy. At first this was just for ivy league school but now, it has even spread to high schools. And now it’s becoming more and more popular with those students. I am a user of facebook myself and right now, I think it’s becoming too much like myspace with all its additions and modifications to profiles.
This is a good way to keep track of classmates I believe. Much better than MySpace since it’s more organized and it first came out to handle information like that. You can sign up and look for your classmates anytime. I keep track of my highschool and recent college buddies on there. But don’t waste too much time on it and waste half of your day like many others. Keep track of your time and how you do things.
MySpace is a website almost everyone knows about. It has over 130 million members the last time I checked and it is growing rapidly. It was purchased by NewsCorp not too long ago and Tom, the creator of MySpace has been very happy about it. Myspace has come far since coming out less than a decade ago and now with a third of the United States Population it isn’t looking to slow down.
I am not a fan of Myspace since it’s full of spammers. You will find people spending hours just to make their page look “hot” and “cool” for not very good reasons. If you ask me, having a blog like this and filling it with content and managing everything is what’s good. But I can’t really argue with 130+ million people that myspace isn’t fun and that it can be a waste of time sometimes. But this is just a little opinion and how I feel about MySpace. I see a lot of my friends spend time over this when they could be out doing something better. But don’t let my opinion change your views on myspace and other social bookmarking sites, they are fun at first, even for me.
Usually you will see people planning their death. They plan what will happen to their family when they pass away and they start writing their will. How about you start life planning instead of planning for your death. Such as if you have kids, and something happens to both parents, who will get legal guardianship of the kids? You have to know to fix that before doing much.

Drug addiction is something people shouldn’t be proud of. I’ve said it before that people can ruin their lives and that’s a huge reason why I never did and never plan to do any type of drugs. Getting addicted is considered a disease by most doctors these days. The only reason they can’t quit is because their body acts weird and rejects anything else coming in if they stop the drug. But there are places where they can get help with drug treatment and get help with addiction.
I do believe that some types of addiction are diseases that can be treated if treatment is seeked. Alcohol addiction is a disease and some scientists have proved with tests and evidence about the chemicals in the person’s body and how violent they act when they don’t get their dose of alcohol. But there is hope and treatment centers can help everyone in one way or another. If you know someone that needs help, be sure to help them out and talk to them in a way they will understand, do not reject them, it’ll just mess them up even more. Good luck!
In this Post I will talk about something out of the ordinary. I want to talk about stuff I have seen around me that’s just very horrible. Teenagers getting into drugs and getting addicted and ruining their entire lives. It is just very sad to see anything like that. Teens just ruining their lives and just refusing to go to Teen Rehab to get help. If you know anyone suffering from drug or alcohol addiction or even have mental or other health issues, rehab is the way to go.
I have seen people ruin their lives and I am not talking about in the television but in real life. There are many rehabs around the country that have programs to help out with addiction and health issues. If you know anyone that needs help be sure to try to help them out in any way possible even if it means just giving them information on different rehab centers around him from the internet.
