Fish and sea food is an excellent source of protein and beneficial fatty acids. If you do not know how to cook lobster there are many easy to follow guides available online. This is just one of several methods commonly used to prepare lobster.

1.) Bring water to a boil in a large enough pot.
2.) Add 1 tablespoon of salt per quart of water.
3.) Place the lobster in the water (claws first). The water must cover the entire lobster.
4.) When the water starts boiling again, begin timing. Roughly speaking, it will take 5 minutes to cook 1 pound of lobster. If you have a bigger lobster of 1 ½ – 2 pounds, it will take at least 8-10 minutes. Lobsters weighing slightly over 2 pounds need 11-13 minutes.
