Internal Hard Drives

Hard Drives come in external and internal formats. Of course if you think about it, those the the only two ways you can use a hard drives. You can’t put it in between without magic can you? Well anyway Internal hard drives are hard drives that go right into your computer case under your optical drives most of the time. There are some cases however that has it above the optical drives but it really doesn’t make a difference.

Internal hard drives are usually much faster and the data can be received by your mother board and used much quicker than any external hard drives since the wire you use to transfer data is thicker. Usually wires for external hard drives are USB wires and they are usually thin and you can assume not much data can be transferred through that thing. Internal hard drives are the way to go if you have more 3.5″ slots left in your computer case. Much better than external but either one can work if you know how to use them.
