The basic Hummer H3 price on the American market varies from $29,500 to right above $40,000, but there are naturally a lot of things that a prospective H3 owner can do to increase this price. You can for instance get the H3x trim update and get a Hummer 3 with chrome and body-coloured parts. You can also splash out on an Alpha package, or combine both packages with each other. The Alpha package for the H3 comes with a Vortec 5.3 L V-8 rated at 295 horsepower (224 kW) and 317 ft.lbf of torque (438 N•m). The package also includes the necessary modifications of the platform that is required to make it possible to use the bigger, heavier and more powerful V-8 engine. By getting the Alpha package for your H3, you will increase its towing capacity up to a whooping 6,000 pounds (2,721 kg).
