A little wild at heart

Extreme sports cars have a prominent place in popular culture and many of us can feel our heart skip a beat when confronted with a perfect combination of supreme style and superlative engineering. Many of the legendary extreme sports cars, such as the celebrated Corvette Stingray is no longer in production and if you want to own one you have to purchase it from a current owner; it can not be ordered from Chevrolet directly. The Corvette Stingray first saw the day of light in 1963, and 1976 was the last year in which the Stingray badge was used. The Corvette Stingray is one of few extreme sports cars to come out of the United States and it will always have a special place in the heart of American car enthusiasts.

If you want to own an extreme sports car that has never been used by anyone before you, there are several sports cars to choose among. Italy is a Mecca for sports car aficionados and is the birth place of Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bugatti, and Pagani – just to mention a few. The Pagani Zonda is one of the newer additions to the family of Italian supercars. Pagani Automobili S.p.A. was founded in 1992 and the Pagani Zonda was released in 1999. The car is named after an air current found over Argentina in South America.
