Yes – it is a hoax. No lawyer would use the term “go bat-shit”. At least not a lawyer expensive enough for Metallica to use..

It was a radio station og web site that tried to be funny and sarcastic, but obviously they weren’t very good at it – and the “news” got out on the wire.

Anyways, if you check Metallicas official site you’ll see that they proudly announce their agreement both with Guitar hero and Rock band.

lol, its not a hoax, Metallica’s lawyers spoke out already and it’s been on the news already and this isn’t the first time they did that, they have done it before for money, not the music :/

Sink? They jumped the shark years ago when they released Garage Inc. They’re just a bunch of over-the-hill sellouts, nothing like what people grew to love them for.

I can’t even stand to listen to their music now, it stands for and belongs on MTV2 with the gangsta “Look at my bling!” crap.
